Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Ecoverse Digital Ltd, a company registered in the Republic of Cyprus (“Ecoverse”, “we”, “us”), which operates Redeemz. They apply to the website at redeemz.io, the Redeemz mobile app, the Redeemz button on partner websites and related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. The Service

Redeemz lets members unlock content on partner websites that use content-lock pages (“Partner Sites”) without completing the tasks those pages normally require. You can unlock by signing in on the web and redeeming from your dashboard, or by scanning a QR code with the Redeemz app. Each redeem also gives you a one-time backup code that you can enter on the Partner Site.

Redeemz only works on pages where the Partner Site shows the Redeemz button. Which sites and pages support Redeemz, and what content they offer, is decided by the Partner Sites and may change at any time.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country if higher, to use the Service.
• You must give a valid email address and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you think your account has been misused.
• Your account is personal. You may use it on the web and on your own devices, but you may not share, sell or transfer it.
• If you use the app without an email account, your access is tied to that installation. Adding an email to your account keeps it when you change devices.

3. Free trial

New accounts created with an email address get a free trial of the Service, currently 2 days. The trial is available once per person; creating several accounts to get more trials is not allowed. No payment details are needed to start a trial. During the trial, the same daily limits apply as on a paid plan. We may change, limit or end free trial offers for new accounts at any time.

4. Plans, payment and cancellation

• Plans. Paid plans give you a number of redeems per day for a billing period (for example a week, month or year). The current plans, limits and prices are shown in the Service before you buy.
• Payment. Payments are processed by our payment providers or, for purchases in the app, by the app store (for example Apple or Google) under its own terms. Prices include VAT where it applies.
• Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the price then in effect, until you cancel. If we change the price, we will tell you in advance and the new price applies from your next billing period; you can cancel before then.
• Cancellation. You can cancel anytime, from your dashboard or, for app purchases, from your app store account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
• Refunds. Except where these Terms or the law say otherwise, payments are not refundable for partial periods or unused redeems. App store purchases are refunded under the app store’s policies. Unused daily redeems do not carry over.

5. Right of withdrawal (EU and UK consumers)

If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you normally have the right to withdraw from a contract for digital services within 14 days of entering into it. Because the Service starts immediately, when you buy a plan you ask us to begin providing it straight away and acknowledge that, if you then withdraw within 14 days, we may charge a proportionate amount for the service already provided, and that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully provided. To withdraw, email [email protected] with a clear statement that you are withdrawing.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• share, sell or publish backup codes, unlock links or your account with others, or redeem on behalf of other people;
• use bots, scripts or other automated means to redeem, sign up or access the Service, or try to get around daily limits, rate limits or the one-trial rule;
• reverse engineer, interfere with or attack the Service, Partner Sites or other users, or probe them for vulnerabilities without our written permission;
• use the Service to access content that is unlawful where you are, or in any way that breaks the law or the rights of others; or
• misrepresent your identity or use another person’s email address.

7. Partner sites

Partner Sites are run by independent third parties. We do not own, control or endorse their content, downloads or links, and we are not responsible for them, including their legality, accuracy, safety or availability. A Partner Site may change or remove content or stop supporting Redeemz at any time. Your use of a Partner Site is governed by that site’s own terms and privacy policy.

If a page does not unlock after a successful redeem, use your backup code. If that doesn’t work either, contact us and we will look into it and put it right where the fault is ours.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, logos and the Redeemz name, belongs to Ecoverse or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose under these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from it except as the law allows.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.

9. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account, or refuse a redeem, if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if we must do so by law, or to protect the Service, Partner Sites or other users. Where reasonable, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond. If we close your account without a breach on your part, we will refund the unused part of any prepaid period.

10. Availability and disclaimers

We work to keep the Service available and working, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that every page or Partner Site will unlock, or that any particular site will keep supporting Redeemz. We may change, add or remove features. Nothing in these Terms affects the rights you have as a consumer under applicable law, including the statutory guarantee that digital services conform to the contract.

11. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, data or goodwill, or for the content of Partner Sites. Our total liability to you in connection with the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in that period and EUR 50.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. The courts of Cyprus have jurisdiction over any dispute, but if you are a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may also bring proceedings in the courts there.

Please contact us first at [email protected] so we can try to resolve the issue. EU consumers can also use alternative dispute resolution, including through the consumer protection authorities in their country.

13. Changes and general terms

• Changes. We may update these Terms. For significant changes we will tell you by email or in the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. If you don’t agree, you can cancel before then; continuing to use the Service afterwards means you accept the new Terms.
• Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
• Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
• No waiver. If we don’t enforce a right, we have not given it up.
• Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours to a company that takes over the Service, without reducing your rights.
• Language. These Terms are written in English. If we provide a translation, the English version prevails to the extent the law allows.
